The weather in Northamptonshire this week is set to be relatively mild with chilly spells following severe winds.

Described as a ‘tornado’ by many onlookers, including vicar Richard Coles, the storm rolled into Northants between 7am and 10am on Halloween knocking over dozens of trees and causing widespread disruption.

Photos of the devastation showed huge trees blown into the road, piles of huge branch strewn across parks, and even damaged fences and sheds.
